The volumes of Estonian construction companies decreased 2.3 pct year on year in the second quarter, Tõnu Toompark, a real estate specialist writes in its blog.
The total volume of construction works was EEK 14.7 billion.
According to Toompark the construction sector is influenced by collapsing housing development. The developmens of the new housing projects is in standstill and no new projects are foreseen in the near future. The only exception may be the small projects, targeted to the special group.
