Apartment prices in Vilnius increased by 0.6% to 1,352 EUR/sqm in April 2016. During a year apartment prices in Vilnius increased by 4.6% and since the last lowest price level in May 2010, apartment prices are higher by 17.1% (by 198 EUR/sqm). In January-April 2016, the number of apartment transactions in Vilnius (3,294 transactions) increased by 19% compared with January-April 2015.
In April 2016, apartment prices in Riga increased by 0.3% to the average price of 1,068 EUR/sqm. Over the past 12 months, the average apartment price has increased 1.9% (in March 2016, the annual increase of apartment prices was 1.7%). Since the last lowest price level in October 2009, apartment prices are higher in Riga by 25.7%, still apartment prices are 54.0% lower than at their highest level in the middle of 2007.
The average apartment price in Tallinn increased by 2.1% to 1,590 EUR/sqm in April 2016, which means that annual increase is 1.9%. In total there were 2,815 apartment transactions in January-April 2016 in Tallinn, which is 3% more than in January-April 2015.
