“Profitus”: 2024 – A Record Growth Year with Expansion and Innovation

The crowdfunding platform “Profitus” raised €88 million in 2024, strengthening its position as a leader in Lithuania and starting international expansion. This is 49% more than in 2023, when €59 million was raised. According to CEO Lina Maskoliūnė, these results were driven by active growth, new features, and increased trust from investors and real estate developers.

Growing Confidence from Investors and Businesses

In 2024, “Profitus” reached over 42,000 users, raising funds for 429 projects. Although the number of projects is smaller than in 2023, more money was raised because larger real estate developers are now using the platform. Last year, “Profitus” funded projects from three companies in Lithuania’s top ten real estate developers, including “Nemunas by Citus” in Druskininkai, “Nidos Bangos by CITUS” in Neringa, and the “Ocean 11” villa projects in Spain, developed by “Realco” in the Golden Mile.

New Features for Investors

In September, “Profitus” launched an automated investment tool called “RoboInvest,” which over 1,000 investors used by the end of the year, investing more than €1.2 million. The average investment is around €200-300, but some investors put in much more, like €10,000 or €15,000. The largest investment made with “RoboInvest” in 2024 was €95,000.

At the end of the year, “Profitus” also launched a mobile app available on Google Play and the App Store. Now, users can easily track their investments and make decisions from their phones.

Focus on Company Growth and Culture

In 2024, there were changes in the leadership team. Lina Maskoliune became the CEO, while founder Viktorija Cijunskyte stayed responsible for the company’s strategy as Chair of the Board. The company also started operations in Spain, with Sergio Aragon Sanchez becoming the head of the local office. The first projects funded in Spain include the “Ocean 11” villas in Marbella, developed by “Realco,” which will allow investors to participate until October 2025.

Youth Education and Spreading Investment Knowledge

“Continuing our mission to improve financial literacy, we focused on educating young people, organizing events and job-shadowing programs where they spent the day with the company’s leaders. Last year, more than 1,000 students and young people participated in these events. We also started the “Smart Investment Forum,” an educational event series available both in person and online, aimed at current and potential investors,” says Lina Maskoliune.

Since its start in 2018, “Profitus” has raised €238 million, funded 1,597 projects, and earned nearly €15 million for investors. The average annual interest rate is 10.14%.
